Bricmont's furnace and cooling system may consist of an unfired vertical preheat
tunnel, a direct fired furnace, a turning hood, an induction heating section,
horizontal radiant tube sections, a horizontal cooling section and after pot cooler.
Bricmont lines represent state-of-the-art equipment for heating and cooling strip
for galvanizing. An induction heater may provide heat to the strip shortening the overall
length of the line plus providing greater yield due to product transitions.
Some of the features on a Bricmont line:
Unfired preheat tunnel to maximize production with
reduced fuel consumption
Induction heating for rapid heating, reducing overall length and
increasing yield
High performance convection cooling sections
Automatic computer control including transition model
