Bricmont strives to design and build furnaces with
safety in mind, but some hazards are inherent in
whatever is done in an industrial setting. Care
should be taken when working around a furnace and
the proper personal protective equipment must be
worn. OSHA's Part (29 CFR 1910.132) states "The
employer shall assess the workplace to determine if
hazards are likely to be present, which necessitate
the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)".
Bricmont employees have a good safety record, but
anyone can have a lapse of attention. To keep
safety at the forefront, Bricmont employees have
initial safety training and annual refresher training to keep safety fresh in
everyone’s’ mind. At work sites, Bricmont
contractors are required to perform weekly toolbox
meetings, which include safety topics.
