Continuous Strip Processing
Bricmont has very modern references for Horizontal and “L” shaped hot dip coating
furnaces and has built heat to coat furnaces for heavy gauge Hot Rolled product to lines for the full annealing and subsequent coating of cold rolled substrate
for non-exposed automotive and appliance manufacture. Horizontal furnaces have been
built for production rates of 650,000 tpy and are capable of treating the full range
of commercial products.
Bricmont furnaces are very modern designs and are inherently fuel efficient. In
addition to featuring self recuperative preheat sections, both the Direct Fired
and Radiant Tube zones feature hot air recuperated burners and all Bricmont Furnaces
are designed using high efficiency, low thermal mass insulating systems. Not only
does this method of construction yield energy saving benefits, but also makes the
furnace very responsive to changes in process temperature requirements.
Bricmont has developed a unique modular design concept. Custom sized process furnace
systems can be supplied by using a number of standard modules of proven design.
This is a practical alternative to the common industry practice of “closest available
size” approach reusing archived designs.
Another positive advantage the Bricmont module philosophy allows is the ability
of the modules to be pre-assembled prior to delivery to the job site. This ability
saves the Bricmont’s client’s time and expense at the job site. |
